Intrusion represents one of those happy accidents that turn a routine modeling session into an unexpected happening. While I was setting up my drawing materials and my model was about to take her pose, she heard something that startled her and turned to see what it was. The twisted pose as she clutched her wrap and her watchful expression went together perfectly. I told her to hold that pose and went to work. Pastel 32” x 40”
